Colin A Dunbar, B. Th., M. Div., D. Min., CGRS,
Presenter, Facilitator, and Motivator
Dr. Dunbar is a retired pastor within the Seventh-day Adventist domination. Throughout his career, his mission has been to make disciples of all people, communicating the everlasting gospel in the context of the three angel's message of Revelation 14:6-12, to lead them to accept Jesus as personal savior, to unite with His remnant church, to equip them to serve him as Lord, and to prepare them for His soon return.
Dr. “D” was born in Bermuda and educated in Bermuda, Trinidad, Jamaica, W.I., and Michigan. He received his doctoral degree from Andrews University Theological Seminary in Berrien Springs, Michigan and became an adjunct Professor where he taught in various capacities including that of teaching MA and M. Div. students the art of Bibile Instructorship. Since then, he has served in many parts of the world and has ministered across cultural lines in numerous churches and conferences as a Minister, Director of Church Growth, Publishing, Ministerial, Sabbath School and Coordinator of Prayer Ministries Lay-Bible Training, and Ingathering.
In recent years he has pursued his passion for responding to hurting hearts by receiving a broader education and increased skills in the area of Grief Facilitation and Recovery. He has served on various boards and committees, including the Executive Committees of the Bermuda Conference, Lake Region, Upper Columbia and North Pacific Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. Dr. Dunbar is passionate about helping people live a more abundant, free, and happy life and that of preparing for the second coming of Christ.
He is married to Dr. Mable Dunbar who is President of Women’s Healing and Empowerment Network. She is also a Family Mediator, Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Behavioral Therapist, and Clinically Certified Domestic Violence Counselor. ‘Dr. Dunbar and his wife Mable are authors who share a joint passion for hurting people. They conduct training and educational programs for churches and organizations in areas that relate to church safety, grief and loss, and that of family issues relating to domestic violence and abuse.’
"CD" as he is affectionately called, is a health enthusiast, who enjoys cycling, bee-keeping, and running. He , with his wife Mable are the proud parents of three adults: Elrene (CPA), Elizabeth (MSW), and Colin II (RDCS) and grandparents to four adorable boys.
